Smiles and Shivers All Around

Last December, I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with this sweet family who are dear friends of mine. The weather was absolutely frigid that day, but all the children were wonderful - bravely taking their coats off and smiling the whole time.

...Well, almost everyone smiled. Poor little Madelyn felt the bitter cold the most I think.

Now she can smile - all bundled up next to Mommy.

Little Jacob was the most cheerful boy that day - he was simply adorable and didn't seem to mind the weather at all. Of course, having on both a turtleneck and sweater helped, I'm sure.

Cheaper by the Dozen

Last Autumn I was kept busy with photo shoots for many family friends, including this dear family who had just had their twelfth child. It was really enjoyable to work with everyone - especially those sweet little girls who loved having their 'picture taken'. The challenge to capture the 'perfect photo' gets bigger with each little person you add as the possibility for blinks, yawns, and silly faces expands, but the rewards also grow - as does the fun.

I also got several shots of their sweet new baby - his eyes are some of the bluest I've ever seen.
